Lotus is a relaxed restaurant less than a skip away from the Barangaroo waterfront, with a sundrenched outdoor courtyard and a tempting modern Chinese menu. Their menu focuses on authentic Chinese dishes, wok-fried and chilli infused, with a dash of extra Sydney flavour.

The experience at Lotus is shaped by four core factors, being outstanding food, seasonal produce, refined kitchen craft and terrific service. We think you’ll agree, they’ve honed all four. 

The menu features a long list of dumplings, including an incredibly juicy pork xiao long bao, plus starters including natural oysters and grilled half scallops with tomato sambal. There’s live seafood cooked in a sauce of your choosing - our advice? Go for the pipis in XO sauce. 

The menu is rounded out by main dishes, including lotus duck fried rice, crispy chicken and the intriguing ‘strange flavour’ eggplant with Sichuan pepper.
